Happy Friday everyone! So I definitely wouldn't call myself a huge makeup person, my daily routine is usually just a five-minute blur of eyebrows and mascara. However, I made it a goal for this year to put more effort into educating myself about makeup and finding a routine that works for me, and I'm really happy with how I'm doing so far. Although I never put a lot of effort into makeup for school, my go-to for nights out or weekends is definitely on the darker side. I always put the most effort into eyes and lips, with a good foundation as a base.
Anyways, this amazing company Farfetch has recently expanded their site to include beauty products, so naturally I have been obsessing. Here's a little wishlist that I've created, including the basics that I  believe are the most important to own. Check out their site ASAP, I was definitely impressed by the amount of high-end beauty products as well as clothing!
1. Chantecaille Future Skin Foundation- I believe that if you're going to splurge on one makeup product, it has to be foundation. Your foundation is slathered on top of your delicate skin for hours and hours each day, so you absolutely need to make sure you're buying the best. This foundation is made for oily/combo skin, and it's made from natural ingredients so it's definitely gentle on the face.
2. Chantecaille Le Stylo Ultra Slim Eyeliner- I've gone through so many different styles of eyeliner to find the right one (including that ridiculous pot-and-wand technique that is IMPOSSIBLE to master) and I found my fit within creamy pens. They're so easy to use, especially for my favorite smudge-y look.

3. Kevyn Aucoin Blood Roses Lipstick- Lately I've been getting more and more into lipsticks, especially if they're easy to put on and forget about reapplying for the day. I'm always drawn to dark lip colors, they just look better with my skin tone and the colors I usually wear. Also, can we just appreciate how beautiful that packaging is?? I'm not embarrassed to admit that aesthetically-pleasing packaging plays a large role in whether or not I buy a makeup product.
4. Oribe Signature Moisture Mask- I absolutely love having platinum blonde hair, but it comes with extreme responsibility. Going through monthly lightening treatments takes quite a toll on my hair, so I've learned to be extra careful with the products that I use to re-nourish. Slapping on a moisture mask once a week or so is so helpful, especially if you have lightened/colored hair. Even if you have perfectly healthy virgin hair, using a mask once a month will help repair any heat damage! My uncle is a hair dresser, and he's always told me to treat my hair like a cashmere sweater- I feel like that's one of those advice-nuggets that I'll remember for the rest of my life.

So that's my wishlist! I had a lot of fun because this is completely different than my typical post, writing about makeup is out of my comfort zone so bear with me. Let me know if you'd like to see more posts like this in the future, and don't forget to check out Farfetch
This post was made in collaboration with Farfetch, but all opinions are my own (of course)!
